Since its inception, Maryland Nonprofits has provided opportunities for more than 40,000 nonprofit staff and board members to advance their skills and knowledge through workshops and conferences. Our in-depth consulting strategic planning, board development, mergers, executive transitions, legal services and other areas have helped to strengthen more than 600 organizations. Maryland Nonprofits has assisted hundreds of organizations to come into being, and one-third of our members were formed since the year 2000. We have involved hundreds of leaders in in-depth leadership programs, cohort programs, coaching, and peer networking programs.

The Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations is a 501 (c)(3) organization - donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. A copy of our current financial statement is available upon request by calling our office. Documents submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401 for the cost of copying and mailing. MARYLAND NONPROFITS AND MARFY JOINT CONFERENCE

OCTOBER 3 & 4, 2017 - BALTIMORE, MD

This year, to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we’re doing things a little differently! Our conference will take place over two days and convene members of Maryland Nonprofits, MARFY, and Americorps/VISTA from across the state.  The conference is presented in partnership with Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers, Americorps/VISTA, and the Maryland Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Maryland Nonprofits’ Conference (October 4, 2017): 600-700 nonprofit, foundation, government, and business leaders participants.
  • MARFY Conference (October 3-4, 2017): 120 members of child-serving agencies, including executive directors, clinical directors, and social workers.
  • Exhibitor tables will be placed throughout the general session area to allow maximum exposure to conference attendees.

TECH TO TELL YOUR STORY

MARCH 21, 2017 - MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD

This full-day conference focuses on fundraising, social media, marketing and the technology that nonprofits need to make it all work. This is a tactical day focused on concrete how-tos for nonprofit leaders to help them better tell their stories and raise more money to support their cause. Three full tracks of learning opportunities will be offered with 20+ speakers invited to share their expertise. We anticipate more than 150 members of the nonprofit community to join us at this year’s Tech to Tell Your Story conference. Attendees are in executive, fundraising, marketing and technology roles in their organizations.

2017 STANDARDS FOR EXCELLENCE LICENSED CONSULTANT PROGRAM

OCTOBER 25 – 27, 2017 - BALTIMORE, MD

The Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant training is an intensive, three-day program that assists independent consultants by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to help nonprofits across the country implement best practices. Participants attend from around the country, and typically have strong experience in nonprofit management, governance, law and/or financial management. The training concludes with a networking reception. (Expected attendance: 30 in program; 50 for reception)
