Nonprofits by the Numbers, an annual publication of Maryland Nonprofits, is now available as a handy web tool that allows you to search for the data most relevant to your needs.  Choose to view information by county, region or state-wide; and view charts and graphs on nonprofit revenue, employment, numbers and types of nonprofits, and more. 

Download the 2011 Nonprofits by the Numbers report, in addition to the interactive searchable website.  The report shows that nonprofit employment continued to grow and outpace total employment in Maryland in 2011.  Also, the number of nonprofits is now lower due to the new IRS regulations that required all nonprofits to file form 990's, removing many inactive charities from the list. read more ...
