Ms. Umaña's and CHEER's contributions to the Latinx community give hope and motivation to helping get Latinos vaccinated and protect them against COVID-19.

Dr. Kathleen Page is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine. Dr. Page's contribution to the Latino community has been insurmountable. Dr. Page leads the School of Medicine Taskforce on promoting research on equity and inclusion so those who are not proficient in English. Her partnership with MALVEC is a major necessity to helping accomplish our mission.
