Maryland Nonprofits Supports Regulatory Reform
Last week the Baltimore Sun ran an article that characterized Maryland Nonprofits as a “critic” of Governor Hogan’s new panel on regulatory reform. We are glad to report the Sun also ran our letter to the editor to clarify that we are not critics of the effort – regulatory reform is something we have long supported. Rather, we think that nonprofits should be represented on any panel that brings businesses together, and that there should be people who are knowledgeable about the reasons certain regulations were put in place. See the letter to the editor and the original article here.
