National Alliance on Mental Illness Advocacy Day
Join National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Maryland and the Maryland Behavioral Health Coalition on February 22 at noon at the State House in Annapolis to fight to Keep the Door Open for all Marylanders living with a mental health or substance use disorder. Join NAMI Maryland for breakfast and an orientation, then head out to talk to your legislators about the importance of increased services for individuals with mental illness and their families.
NAMI Maryland is working in Annapolis to advance policies that will ensure individuals and their families have access to timely and effective mental health treatment. The power of your story is one of the most important tools we have when talking to elected officials to illustrate that treatment works and recovery is possible.
