Nonprofit Governance Assessment

Whether your organization is just starting out or well-established, our Nonprofit Governance Assessment,  designed to help your organization strengthen its governance and legal compliance, is an essential first step to enhancing your governance processes. It goes beyond a simple bylaws review, providing a comprehensive look at overall governance and board leadership.

Led by our expert legal counsel, this facilitated process guides your board through a detailed checklist, offering a clear overview of governance practices and board performance in line with best practices.

For nonprofits pursuing Standards for Excellence accreditation or recognition, the Nonprofit Governance Assessment is an ideal way to kick-start your journey. Strong governance is at the core of the Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector, and it’s a key element in driving your organization’s success.
